Counselling and Psychotherapy in English

Moving abroad is an exciting adventure and offers many happy moments, new situations, getting to know different culture, food, people, habits. Usually at the first thought it is great. However, after a while you may start feeling lonely or sad and missing friends or family and  the way of living you had at home. Sometimes one person of the family is transferred to São Paulo and the family has to follow, so your spouse or kids may be dissatisfied with the situation.  It is hard to see your loved ones suffering. Usually the decision to move is based on the desire to succeed, develop, have new challenges. So, it is a good idea to get some professional help to harmonize feelings, frustrations  and transform this life change into something positive. Don't wait too long, bad feelings grow, and it is easier when we look at them right from the start and deal with them.

Perhaps you are ok with your move to São Paulo and happy about it, but you are not sure how or where to start. This counselling may also be directed to your adaptation to this moment and the city, people, culture, etc.

Another situation might be that having moved to São Paulo you had to stop your therapy. This may be a chance to start a new process, you're probably having new issues and challenges to deal with.

My aim is to help my clients - adolescents, adults, couples - to deal with the current situation and achieve personal growth and personal change, improving communication skills, relational abilities and dealing with conflicts.
